North Eastern, New Brunswick

Multi-year Rebuild of 230kV transmission circuits including replacement of over 300 wood pole transmission structures. The work spanned over 350kms of remote Right of Way access. Due to system constraints, large packages of work were completed under short outage windows utilizing multiple contractors.

The project was constrained by difficult access due to wet terrain posed risk to access for crews and heavy machinery. Many areas of the project also interfaced with private landowners where access negotiations were required. The short outage window put the project under tight timelines and required multiple contractors to complete the work.
