Construction Supervision for the removal & replacement of the TU2 and TSS2 transformers from the tail race deck. Scope of work included Installation of new support beams and transformer travel rails on the tailrace deck, removal of all heat exchangers, associated piping, wiring and motors for the external cooling system on the old TU2 transformer and installation of 138kV conductors.
LG Projects Ltd. provided Owner’s Representative construction management field supervision, and safety management services through to commissioning of the new transformers.
